Typhoon (17W) Sanba is currently located approximately 545 NM
east of Manila, Philippines, has tracked northwestward at 10 mph over the
past six hours. Maximum wave height is 23 feet.

Animated Multispectral satellite imagery shows a warm pinhole cloud-filled
eye surrounded by very cold central dense overcast as deep
convective banding
wrapped tighter into the low level circulation center (LLCC).
- Typhoon Sanba is expected to continue tracking more northward over the next 12 hours and will continue to strengthen as upper level conditions, coupled with warm (82-86 degrees fahrenheit) sea surface temperatures persist.
