Super Typhoon (17W) Sanba is currently located approximately 450 nm south-southeast of
Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan, has tracked northward at 10 mph over the
past six hours. Maximum wave height is 57 feet.

Animated Multispectral satellite imagery continues to depict a
well-organized system with a symmetric core of deep
convection surrounding a 13 nm eye that has slightly contracted over the past six hours.
