- Typhoon (17W) Sanba is currently located approximately 115 nm south-southeast of
Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan, has tracked north-northwestward at 12 mph over the
past six hours. Maximum wave height is 48 feet.

Animated Multispectral satellite imagery the system has maintained very deep convective bands tightly wrapped into a symmetrical 30 nm eye.
