- Tropical Storm (17W) Sanba is currently located approximately 700 NM east of Manila, Philippines, has tracked northwestward at 5 mph over the past six hours.
- Has maintained organization with deep convective banding wrapping into the low level circulation center.
- TS Sanba is expected to continue tracking northward and steadily intensify as upper level conditions and warm (82-86 degrees fahrenheit) sea surface temperatures persist. Given the favorable environmental conditions, the potential exists for an increased intensification rate.
